Kyle Lawton President and CEO
Co-Founder: Kyle’s experience in Radiology spans two decades. Beginning as a hospital-based radiographic technologist, he later combined his first-hand knowledge of the field and understanding of its technology to serve roles of increasing responsibility for IDX Systems Corporation, a leading healthcare imaging and information management solutions provider. There, he eventually became Product Manager over the company’s integration product line. He also served as Product Manager at AMICAS. In 2002, Kyle exercised his spirit of entrepreneurship to co-found peerVue, creator of intelligent workflow and communication solutions that help healthcare organizations improve patient care and safety while reducing risk and simplifying process. Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, the company now has more than 25 employees, and more than 250 sites and thousands of users depend on its workflow and communications solutions.
In 2010, Kyle and his team used their knowledge of imaging and its processes to create the revolutionary Qualitative Intelligence and Communication System (QICS), the only single-platform, all-inclusive, closed-loop communication and workflow solution in healthcare. Today, under Kyle’s leadership, peerVue continues to innovate and redefine healthcare IT.
Erik Heath Senior Vice President and CTO
Co-founder: Erik, who wrote his first computer program at the age of 8, has more than 15 years of healthcare IT experience. He came to peerVue from Sectra US, where he directed a team of engineers focused on that organization’s U.S.-based PACS integration and interoperability. Prior to that, Erik was a team leader at IDX Systems Corporation (subsequently acquired by GE), where he was responsible for RIS, PACS and EMR integration design and engineering. Erik has extensive experience in a wide variety of healthcare systems and has trained hundreds of people in HL7 and DICOM. At peerVue, he uses his technology expertise and problem-solving skills to direct all aspects of the company’s engineering and development activities. He also provides highly specialized professional services for healthcare IT and imaging vendors, as well as healthcare delivery organizations.
Mike Moore Senior Vice President and COO
Mike has more than 15 years of business and corporate development experience with technology start-ups, helping them develop new business models and establish partnerships to promote growth and ensure profitability. Prior to joining peerVue, he served as vice president of business development for iPass, Inc, a global provider of mobility services. Under his leadership, the company developed a mobile broadband service line that grew to more than $80M in annual revenue. Mike also was responsible for securing a $20M Series F investment in the company from Cisco. He previously held product management roles at BT Worldwide and e.Spire Communications, Inc. At peerVue, Mike leads all facets of the company’s business and corporate development, with a focus on growing peerVue’s strategic alliances and channel partnerships to serve the increasing demand for the company’s industry-leading solutions.
